Breakfast service is extremely basic - LOTS of breads, cereals, processed cheese, over ripe fruit, watery coffee. However, you can fill up adequarely before setting out for the day. Service slow when asking for e.g. teaspoons, coffee, bowls., etc.

Clean-up of common areas - lifts, windows and shutters, reception area furniture, tables, etc. Poor wi-fi.

What was the highlight of Hotel Plaza La Habana

Without a doubt the rooms are definitely two star, the breakfast and the hotel itself are four star.

Reception staff were very helpful, as were the doormen. Loved that I could buy Nauta card onsite. Wi-fi was excellent early in the morning and late at night but not so good between 4pm and 9pm as there were so many people using it. Breakfast was amazing; full buffet with juice, fruit, meats, cheese, breads, pastries, eggs, and omelettes cooked fresh on request. If you're looking for a hotel with loads of architectural character, I'm not sure where you would find better. I'd stay here again.

Room cleanliness was average and the shower was pretty poor (broken holder), slimy tiles and slimy shower curtain. Our room door had an interesting way of grinding on the floor when we entered and exited the room, notifying many on the floor of our arrival / departure. If you're a non-smoker this hotel allows smoking throughout the entirety of the facility, which can be overwhelming. Even I, as a smoker, found it a bit too much.

Down town hotel.

I like the location. The entrance is very nice.

The water pressure in the shower was almost like none. We had also small bugs on the floor and there was also dust on the floors.

If you like modern room, with all equipment and amenities functional, do not stay here.

Hotel has the real old time flavor.

Hotel deserves maintenance and better house keeping. Permanent problem with the toilet flushing, water leaks from wash-basin and room A/C.

Everything was very bed in this hotel specially the staff are not helpfull the bell boy are mafia and the room was very old and not clean at all The hotel couldn't be more than one star i suggest to romoove this hotel from your list there is no water too

Very good for location, pleasant stay overall, no major issues

This hotel has all the facilities you can expect in Cuba (no wifi in the room, but wifi is available only in certain areas in Cuba anyway, so it wouldn't be fair to expect it in the rooms). The location is super central. The view from the restaurant is amazing, good selection of food at breakfast and live music every morning!

Check in and check out processes could have been faster. The bed linen smelled like wet clothes that have not dried properly. I booked a double room, but I got a twin room (2 separate single beds); also, one of the beds had a broken leg and the mattress was falling on the floor when sitting on the bed too forcefully.

A lovely hotel overall, though the rooms are overdue now for a spot of refurbishment.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel lobby is magnificent and comfortable and a good place to get wi-fi. Great also to hear live music periodically through the day.

The grandeur of the entrance lobby makes promises that my hotel room didn't really keep. In this sense it's possible that the Plaza Hotel has a little way yet to go before it measures up to its neighbours around Parque Central. The £82 I spent for one night there would have bought me three or four nights (inc breakfast) in a very acceptable Casa Particular, with comparable or more up-to-date facilities. Also, expect to hear lots of traffic noise.

The band in the lobby were good.

Black mold in the room. Individual at reception desk should not be in service industry, rude. Will never go back.

DO NOT STAY HERE!

Location was Excellent!

Rooms werevnot clean, Linen not clean. I was very disappointed that hotel staff led people to a tourist trap restaurant charging 3 times average so that they could get a portion of the money spent. We watched it happen throughout our trip to others as new guests arrived. We lost all trust in hotel and Staff!
