Breakfast service is extremely basic - LOTS of breads, cereals, processed cheese, over ripe fruit, watery coffee. However, you can fill up adequarely before setting out for the day. Service slow when asking for e.g. teaspoons, coffee, bowls., etc.
Clean-up of common areas - lifts, windows and shutters, reception area furniture, tables, etc. Poor wi-fi.

What was the highlight of Hotel Plaza La Habana
Without a doubt the rooms are definitely two star, the breakfast and the hotel itself are four star.
Reception staff were very helpful, as were the doormen. Loved that I could buy Nauta card onsite. Wi-fi was excellent early in the morning and late at night but not so good between 4pm and 9pm as there were so many people using it. Breakfast was amazing; full buffet with juice, fruit, meats, cheese, breads, pastries, eggs, and omelettes cooked fresh on request. If you're looking for a hotel with loads of architectural character, I'm not sure where you would find better. I'd stay here again.
Room cleanliness was average and the shower was pretty poor (broken holder), slimy tiles and slimy shower curtain. Our room door had an interesting way of grinding on the floor when we entered and exited the room, notifying many on the floor of our arrival / departure. If you're a non-smoker this hotel allows smoking throughout the entirety of the facility, which can be overwhelming. Even I, as a smoker, found it a bit too much.

Down town hotel.
I like the location. The entrance is very nice.
The water pressure in the shower was almost like none. We had also small bugs on the floor and there was also dust on the floors.

If you like modern room, with all equipment and amenities functional, do not stay here.
Hotel has the real old time flavor.
Hotel deserves maintenance and better house keeping. Permanent problem with the toilet flushing, water leaks from wash-basin and room A/C.
